Volunteer at the South Shore Farmers Market:
Help Make Fresh, Local Food More Accessible
Join us in helping more community members access fresh, locally grown/made food! We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to support the South Shore Farmers Market Token Booth.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with tent set up/tear down
- Help shoppers purchase SNAP/EBT tokens
- Help distribute Market Match dollars
- Answer basic questions
- Create a welcoming, accessible market experience
No Experience Necessary
No previous experience is needed, we’ll provide everything you need to get started, including training on the point of sales apps! We do require all new volunteers to undergo a background check before their first shift.
Saturday Volunteer Shift
Saturday 7:45-10 a.m. or 10 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
